The Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) and PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) announced that Internet advertising revenues reached almost $5.9 billion for the third quarter of 2008, representing an 11 percent increase over the same period in 2007. The Q4 results will give us a good feel for next year.

An advertiser — Say So Mobile — bought Jessica's Twitter profile page. The price: $45 for 7 days. Look for this trend to continue since Twitter really needs to figure out how to make some money. I wonder how "contextual" Twitter ads can be?
