The UK’s five largest mobile phone co’s introduced a payment system that turns handsets into digital wallets for items worth $20 or less. I thought the English already had this kind of service. They did, but it was based on clunky SMS.

This is good follow-up link to my last one on UK’s digital wallets. Google’s introducing a phone in the coming months. My guess is gPay — an SMS micropayment application for their phone — will be an early priority.
