I was just noticing in this week’s BusinessWeek that Accenture began incorporating (blatent) Case Studies in their advertising. With a Tiger Woods photo and general ad message, there was a fold out to the right-hand side with 2 different case studies: Staples and NYC’s IT and Telecommunications department.
This caught my attention because I have always found it difficult to get approval from government agencies to talk about a project or the relationship because they don’t want to appear as supporting one company…but they managed to feature the New York IT dept in thier 311 case study.
