Microsoft is courting bloggers and on-line influencers for its Vista launch. A number of A-listers received Acer laptops running Vista Ultimate for their use (and I assume review). Microsoft said there are no strings attached and is 100 percent transparent, but some bloggers are taking issue with the program. Personally, I think it’s a great idea.

Shel Israel is writing another book… on his Naked Conversations blog. It worked beautifully the first time and he’s doing it again. This time the focus appears to be social networks.

I recently read Naked Conversations, and found it to be a great introduction to the world of digital media. Looking forward to the next book.
