I have to admit that I’m kind of bemused by the Time decision. I think it’s an honest recognition of the democratization of the media … but there are SO many people who have shaped the news and our lives this year.

I think it’s totally cool! TIME’s just going with the flow…companies are restructuring their business processes to make the customer central to their model. TIME’s just recognizing that 2006 is the year of U.
