IBM Is Spending A Bundle ($10m) On Virtual Worlds

IBM and their investment in virtual worlds, like Second Life, provides even more credible validation for the market. Sounds like they are really going to push enterprise app’s on the 3-D Web — collaboration and e-commerce. They are also talking about creating gateways between worlds so people can move from one virtual world to the other. IBM’s also building a 3-D replica of China’s famed Palace Museum inside Second Life — now that sounds cool. The SL land rush is about to take off so buy your island now…
