Save TWIT!

TWIT is my favorite tech podcast.  It was one of the first podcasts and it is hosted by Leo Leporte who is arguably the best tech host/reporter on-line or off-line.  More than 150,000 geeks listen to each show.  I was disappointed to learn the show this week was cancelled because none of Leo’s usual guests showed up.  John Dvorak (PC Magazine, etc.) and Patrick Norton (dl.tv) usually Skype in to mix it up, but today they never did.  They don’t get paid so why should they?  Dell (a GCI client) is doing its part by sponsoring the show.  There’s a blogosphere campaign to motivate listeners to “donate” to keep the show alive.  It will be interesting to see how it plays out, but I suspect fan support will save TWIT.
